Day #134 – 700,000+ Visits – October 12, 2017

Yesterday my blog visitor count passed 700,000!!!  That is AMAZING!!! I have a special giveaway today in honor or reaching this number!!!  Scroll down to the end of this post to see who won!!!  A BIG thank you to everyone for visiting my blog regularly and leaving a comment.  I appreciate your time and sharing!!!

This card was shared by Cindy Pietrowski on last Saturday at our team meeting.  She found the inspiration on Pinterest.  Cindy used the Sheltering Tree stamp set found on pg.151 of the annual catalog.  She also used the Leaflets framelits to create the mask.  They are on the bottom of pg. 213 of the annual catalog.

Cindy’s Instructions:
1.  Stamp grass image in Pear Pizzazz ink.
2.  Attach leaf stencil to Vanilla cardstock with washi tape to hold it in place while sponging.  Align bottom of the leaf stem along the grass line.
3.  When sponging, start off the paper, not right on the open image of the leaf.  The color may be too dark.  its good to start out light and you can always add more color.
4.   I started with So Saffron ink first, over the whole image.  Then I added Pear Pizzazz and Pumpkin Pie ink next.  Finally, I sponged with a touch of Cherry Cobbler ink.  It is all really your preference on how you want it to look.
5.  Gently take off the stencil carefully and the stamp the Sheltering Tree image in Chocolate Chip over the leaf image.
6.  Stamp the greeting in Chocolate Chip ink.
